Dog Obedience Training

Niagara Dog Training prefers to train in the natural environment - in the home, backyard, neighbourhood parks or on your walk as this is where you will see behaviours and experience temptations such as squirrels, other dogs and people on a day-to-day basis.

We want your dog to learn to obey and follow commands with any and all distractions in the environment. We find that our clients have much better results with private lessons as opposed to training in a "classroom" where the dog can learn to behave in a specific context. This is referred to as "State-Dependant Learning". A dog may behave in-class and then give you a hard time outside of this environment.
